Heart of Texas HALO Company Profile
Founded by sisters, Joanie Mathis and Lori Frost, Heart of Texas HALO is a community initiative currently forming as a nonprofit organization, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and dignity of aging adults throughout Central Texas.
With more than 60 years of combined experience in Hospitality, Healthcare and Senior Living, Joanie and Lori have devoted their professional and personal lives to serving others. Together, they've seen the challenges families face when navigating the complex world of senior care - because they're living it, too.
As part of a generation now caring for their own aging parents, Joanie and Lori are walking the same journey as countless other sons and daughters of Baby Boomers. They understand the emotional weight, the tough decisions and the desire to provide comfort and dignity to those who once cared for us. HALO was born from that shared experience - a heartfelt response to the growing need for guidance, education and compassionate care fo aging loved ones.
